Gran Canaria

Twenty eight degrees North of the Equator and 15 degrees West, lying approx. 200 miles West of North Africa is the Principal Island of the Canaries, Gran Canaria. Famous for its excellent annual climate, a popular tourist destination and the Starting point of the annual ARC. (Atlantic Rally Circuit)

Gran Canaria has excellent beaches in the North and South of the Island. There are many beautiful and authentic villages to explore, with over 500 years of history. There is great night life and every conceivable water sports facility from Diving, Surfing, Wind-surfing, Kite Surfing, Big Game Fishing or just plain Sailing is available from around the Island.

There is Modern Shopping Centres a good selection of Ports and many Fish restaurants serving the local catch. The Island has an average mean temperature of 24º, which is very appealing for small families and North Europeans. There are also numerous outdoor activities such as Golf, Trekking, Rock-climbing and Cycling. Along with many of the facilities on offer, the Islanders are very friendly and are keen to assist and advise on the best locations for Art and Culture.

Gran Canaria Yacht Charter

We have a nice fleet of Bavaria Sailing Yachts to Charter from 36 to 50ft. Along with a 4 Cabin Beneteau Cyclades 43,4 and an Oceanis 43. The Yachts are available from Las Palmas and Puerto Mogan in the South West. Island hopping and One Ways to other Islands in the Canary's are possible by request. Yachts are available Bareboat or with Skipper and/or Hostess.
