Denia, Valencia
Six Degrees east of Greenwich and almost 39 degrees north of the Equator in the Mediterranean Ocean facing Ibiza on the Costa Blanca and the nearest continental point to the Balearic Islands is Denia. Voted one of the healthiest places in the world by the WHO (World Health Organization).
With an excellent annual mean temperature of 17º C and picturesque beaches, Denia continues to be regarded as an excellent destination for Tourism, Congress and International Trade Meetings. The city has many attractions such as a wide variety of top European Golf courses, water sports and of course excellent sailing.
There are 100's of beautiful beaches, coastal villages, natural parks and mountains all within easy reach. Along with the Imax Cinema, the Planetarium and the Oceanographic Park, this will keep any tourist extremely busy with "things to do". Denia is also the home of Paella which is made from locally grown rice. There is also great shopping facilities and a good choice of Bars and nightclubs.
